Obituary for Frances A. Matthews (Molloy)
NORTH GREENBUSH Frances Molloy Matthews, 71, formerly of Waterford died Thursday March 15, 2018 at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness. Born in Cohoes she was the daughter of the late John W. and Marie A. Vozzy Molloy. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.
Frances’s greatest pleasure was time spent with her family and friends and managed to keep in touch with all of them.
She is survived by her son William Matthews of Troy, a brother John Molloy (Cathy) of Loudonville and a sister Colleen Leof (David) of San Francisco, CA. Another sister Lori Molloy predeceased her. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 119 Broad St., Waterford.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
