Obituary for William A. "Bill" Willetts Sr.
REXFORD William A. (“Bill”) Willetts, Sr., 77, died Sunday January 31, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born July 28, 1943 in Troy he was the son of the late Alfred T. and Jennie Vandebogart Willetts.
He was a graduate of Waterford High School and lived most of his life in Waterford. He retired from NYS Department of Taxation in 1998 after 37 years.
He was a loving and devoted father to his daughter, Tracy R. (Don) Baker of Cohoes, NY, and son, William A. (Kelly) Willetts, Jr., of Clermont, FL. His biggest enjoyment was his grandson, Michael W. Willetts of Spring Valley, CA. who he loved dearly.
Bill was blessed to be loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Bill was the youngest of eight and he will now find peace being with his siblings (all whom predeceased him); Helen Fletcher, Dorothy Mackey, Betty Rogers, Fred Willetts, Jean Cicchinelli, Grace Willetts and Jack Willetts.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, funeral services will be private.
Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a Charity of choice.
