Obituary for Trenton M. McAffry
TROY Trenton M. McAffry, 49, of Douw St. passed away peacefully Tuesday August 30, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany he was the son of Janet Pettibone Dufty and the late Thurman McAffry and was the step son of Robert Dufty. He was educated in Hoosick Falls Schools.
Trenton was an auto mechanic by trade and worked in the Troy area. He enjoyed fishing and playing video games, especially “World of Warcraft”. He was a thoughtful person who would put other people’s needs ahead of his own. He also enjoyed going to family parties and was a funny person who liked to “bust people’s chops”.
In addition to his mother and step father he is survived by his fiancé Charity Betit. He is the brother of Theresa Dufty, Theda O’Brien, Robert Dufty, Jennifer Brunson and Devolyn Beidl. He enjoyed spending time with his soon to be step children Kerissa and Dominick.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Saturday from 10 am till noon at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32) Waterford. A celebration of his life will follow at the Pleasantdale Fire Hall, 1181 River Rd., Troy.
