Obituary for Timothy W. Primeau

WATERFORD Timothy W. Primeau, 68, of Timber Dr. passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, Thursday March 31, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Troy he was the son of the late Leo J. and Marion Harpinger Primeau and was a graduate of Cohoes High School.

Tim was a retired truck driver having worked for C&S Building Material and RIST Transport Ltd. In his retirement he drove school bus for Shenendehowa School District. He has been a member of the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire Department since February of 1996 and is a member of the American Legion Mohawk Post 1450 in Halfmoon. He was a member of the Saturday Night Misfits Bowling League and was a daily visitor to Trick Shot Billiard Hall and Wicked Eatery in Clifton Park.

He was the husband of the late Diane Apostol Primeau who died last December. He is the father of Leo A. Primeau (Leah) of Cohoes and brother of Rick Fitzmaurice of Daytona, FL, the late Rosemary and Leo Primeau, David and Phil Fitzmaurice. He is the proud grandfather of Landyn and Skylar Primeau. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:30 from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford and at noon at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Friday from 9:30 – 11:30, prior to the funeral.
