Obituary for Thomas R "Todd" Lynch
COHOES Thomas R. Lynch, 76, a longtime resident of VanSchaick Island passed away Tuesday March 14, 2023 at Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Troy he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Lund Lynch. He was a graduate of Cohoes High School.
Todd had been employed for 30 years at the New York State Department of Higher Education in Albany and retired in 2001. An avid athlete he would run every day and enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and golf.
Survivors include his children Todd Lynch of Middleburgh, Scott Lynch and April Stewart of Mechanicville. He was the brother of the late William Lynch and is the proud grandfather of Scott and Chase Lynch, Katherine and Anna Stewart.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
