Obituary for Theresa M. Conlan (Kalinowski)
COHOES Theresa M. Conlan, 65, of Beacon Ave. passed away Tuesday March 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Devils Lake, ND she was the daughter of the late Clement and Theresa Gleason Kalinowski, She moved to Hoosick Falls for several years before settling in Cohoes.
In her earlier years Theresa was a medical receptionist for Troy OBGYN. She was a communicant and active member of St. Ambrose Parish in Latham. A deeply religious person she was proud of her role as a mother and was always willing to do for others. She and her husband were members of Worldwide Marriage Encounter and were also active in the Foster Parent Program having fostered children from 1992 until 2001.
Survivors include her husband Edward J. Conlan Jr. and her children, Erin Marie Conlan of Florida, Jonathan Edward Conlan of Troy and Gadria Florence Conlan of Cohoes. She is the sister of Cyril J. Kalinowski of North Dakota and Paul Kalinowski of Hoosick Falls. 6 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:45 am from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 10:30 am at St. Ambrose Church, Latham. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
