Obituary for Tamitha Joy Stevens

WATERFORD Tamitha Joy Stevens, 43, of Division St. passed away suddenly Wednesday July 31, 2019. Born in New Britain, CT she is the daughter of Patricia Peck Stevens of Glenmont and the late Norman L. Stevens. Tamitha attended Green Mountain Union High School, was a graduate of Shaker High School and Syracuse University. She moved to this area in 1992 and settled in Latham at that time.

Tamitha was a librarian at the Waterford Public Library. Formerly she had worked for a number of years at the Costumer in Schenectady. She was a member of The Society for Creative Anachronism. She enjoyed pet fashion design and jewelry creation.

In addition to her mother Tamitha is survived by her brother Timothy Stevens (Amanda) of Feura Bush and her canine companions Jubilee and Colossus.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday August 10, 2019 at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Saturday August 10 from noon – 2 pm. Prior to the service.
