WATERFORD Steven L. Marino, 64, of Saratoga Ave. died suddenly Thursday April 7, 2022. Born and educated in Milwaukee, WI he was the son of the late Louis and Dorothy Schulz Marino. He moved to Western New York 20 years ago and to this area 10 years ago.

Steve was a career man in the US Air Force. He was a patriotic man who had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, taking walks, barbeques watching Jeopardy, The Voice and American Idol. He was a fan of Alice Cooper and Barry White. He also enjoyed watching his fiancée dance and dancing with her.

Survivors include his fiancée, Kelly Hayden, his children, Justin Marino of Buffalo and Jessica Marino of Cohoes. He is the step father of Monica Deckard of Cohoes, Nicholas Deckard of Waterford, Patrick Hayden of Schodack and Eric Deckard of Amsterdam. He is the brother of Larry, Jim and Ken Marino all of Milwaukee. He is the proud grandfather of Jonna Dixon, Roxzes Santana, Arica Taylor, Junior Taylor, Patrick Robert Hayden Jr. and Angelina Anne Hayden.

Funeral services will be at noon on Thursday at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford. Interment with military honors will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the service from 10 am – noon.
