Obituary for Sheila A. Clifton
WATERFORD Sheila A. Clifton, 80, of Broad St. passed away suddenly Monday May 10, 2021 at her residence. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Marjorie Charbonneau Kenney. She was a 1959 graduate of Waterford High School.
During her working career Sheila had been employed as an office worker at Accucheck, the State of New York and the law office of Seymour Fox. In her retirement she served as a bus aide for special needs children at Star and Strand Bus Co.
Sheila was an eternal optimist who was noted for her sense of humor and being the life of the party. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, Karaoke and Irish music.
Survivors include her loving children, Tera Passera of Quaker Hill, CT, Michelle C. Brown and Steven Clifton (Robyn) of Waterford and her longtime companion George Jordan of Waterford. She is the sister of Michael Kenney of Waterford and the late Robert Kenney and is the proud grandmother of Cali Clifton, Nathan C. and Owen C Brown and Schuyler Feigen.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 am from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford and at 9:30 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 pm.
As per pandemic regulations, masks are required, social distancing and occupancy limitations observed.
