Obituary for Rosemarie Prezioso (Marino)
TROY Rosemarie Prezioso, 91, formerly of Harris Rd. passed away Monday November 21, 2022 at Capstone Nursing Home in Amsterdam. Born in New York City she was the daughter of the late Frank and Fannie Pinoli Marino. She had resided in Queens before moving to this area in 1986.
Rosemarie enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to and singing along with almost every kind of music. She was an avid Yankees fan.
She was the widow of the late Romeo Prezioso who died in 1999. She is the mother of Carol Kurkowski (George) of Ballston Spa and Diane Kilkenny (Patrick) of Troy and is the sister of Carole and Frances Marino of Middle Village. She is the proud grandmother of Caroline and Michael Kurkowski, Laura Rafferty and Marissa Kilkenny and great grandmother of Jack and Benjamin Rafferty. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday November 26, 2022 at 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 State St., Troy.
Relatives and friends may visit with her family at the church on Saturday prior to the funeral mass from 9 – 10 am.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
