Obituary for Rose M. Adams (Arroyo)
RENSSELAER Rose M. Adams, 63, of Mountainview Terrace passed away suddenly Friday September 2, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Troy she is the daughter of Jessie Harrington Arroyo of Troy and the late Eugenio Arroyo. She was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.
Rose has been employed for the past 21 years at the Troy Housing Authority. Prior to that she was employed at the former Grand Union Store in Lansingburgh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her canine companions Mayhem and Bronx and crocheting.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her son Scott Lapierre (Matthew) of Wynantskill and her longtime companion Fred Pettingell. She is the sister of Cindy Cruz of Troy, Christine Arroyo of Ballston Spa and Joseph Arroyo of Rensselaer. Several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 am at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
Relatives and friends may visit with her family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
