WATERFORD Robert P. Gauthier, 63, of Clifton St. died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday November 9, 2018. Born in Cohoes he was the son of the late Ernest and Mary Bader Gauthier.

Bob was employed for 40 years at Russell Sage College in Troy and retired in 2015. He enjoyed music, hunting and fishing but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his forever wife Donna Lynn Gibbs Gauthier and his loving children Robert E. Gauthier (Merissa) of Waterford and Patrick J. Gibbs (Liz) of Mechanicville. He is the brother of Norman Gauthier of Waterford, Tony D’Angelico (Peg) of Cohoes and the late Angelo D’Angelico. He is the proud grandfather of Hannah and Victoria Gibbs. 2 Nieces, a nephew and many cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St (Rte.32), Waterford on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. and at 9 am at St. Michael’s Church, Cohoes. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 pm.
