Obituary for Robert T. Frank
WATERFORD Robert T. Frank, 89, of Middletown Rd. died Saturday January 19, 2019 at Samaritan Hospital. Born and educated in Watervliet he was the son of the late Thomas and Ella Thierbacker Frank.
Bob was employed for 38 years by the Bendix Corp. in Green Island and retired in 1987. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a member of the American Legion Mohawk Post 4500 in Halfmoon. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford. He was an avid golfer and was a member of several area golf leagues.
He was the husband of the late Sarah “Sally” Frank who died in 2017. He is the devoted father of Bill Frank (Susan) of Clifton Park, Kathy Moore (Jim) of North Hoosick, Rob Frank of Orlando, FL and Debbie Constanza (Jim) of North Greenbush. He is the proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother Bill Krieger. Several nieces also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday at noon at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford. Interment with military honors will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may visit with his family on Thursday prior to the service from 10 am – noon.
