Obituary for Rita M. Smith (Bouchard)
PALATINE BRIDGE Rita M. Smith a longtime Cohoes resident passed away Sunday September 18, 2022 at Palatine Bridge Nursing Home. Born in Cohoes she was the daughter of the late Louis and Edna Bouchard.
Rita had been employed by Barclay Home Products for a number of years before her retirement. She was an animal lover and enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks.
Rita was the widow of the late John D. Smith who died in 2007. She is the mother of Lynn Phoenix (Keith) of Waterford and the late Dawn Brackett. She is the sister of the late Nick Bouchard and the proud grandmother of Chad Phoenix (Amy), Chrissy Smith, Scott Phoenix and Daniel Phoenix Sr. (Jennifer) and great grandmother of Daniel Phoenix Jr., Carter, Austin and Alex Phoenix.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of her family.
