WATERFORD Rita M. Pallozzi, 99, formerly of Waterford passed away peacefully Sunday Jan. 1, 2023 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Center. Born in Waterford she was the daughter of the late Philip Pallozzi Sr. and Elizabeth Gentile Pallozzi. She was a 1941 graduate of Waterford High School.

Rita had a long career in the banking field. She started her career in the summer of 1941 with the former Bank of Waterford and stayed on when it became the National Commercial Bank and later Key Bank. She retired from the Northway 8 Office in 1985.She was a communicant of St Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford.

She is the sister of the late Robert J. Pallozzi and Philip Pallozzi Jr. and sister in law of Constance Duch Pallozzi of East Greenbush and the late Constance Morris Pallozzi. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 9 am from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 9:30 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
