WATERFORD Patricia A. Norton, 65, of 4th St. passed away Thursday May 13, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospice in Albany surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cohoes she was the daughter of Rita Riel Vaillancourt of Waterford and the late Marcel Vaillancourt.
Pat was employed for 13 years at Anthem Health Services and retired in 2018 due to disability. She had also worked at the Broad St. Café in Waterford and in her earlier years owned and operated Buffalo Bills Restaurant in Mechanicville.
She was a communicant of Grace Episcopal Church in Waterford, a member of the Cohoes Waterford Lodge of Elks auxiliary and the Knickerbocker Steamer Co. Auxiliary. She was the life of her family and enjoyed bowling, shooting darts, camping and riding motorcycles.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her children, Guy Pucci and Kristal Coloney (Andy) of Waterford and Daniel Norton of Florida. She is the sister of Joyce Sunkes (Terry). Carol LeMay (Rick) of Waterford, Rose Tokarz (Rick) of Melrose, Diane Vaillancourt of Waterford and the late Alice Crandall. She is the proud grandmother of Hunter Rose, Nicholas, Isabelle, Aimee and Danny. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday at 9 am at Grace Episcopal Church, 34 3rd St., Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit with her family on Sunday from 3-6 pm at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford.
As per pandemic regulations, masks are required, social distancing and occupancy limitations observed.
