Obituary for Nancy J. Lundgren (Haight)
COHOES Nancy Jane Lundgren, 92, of Pasinella Way and formerly of Millbrook, NY passed away Tuesday March 15, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Poughkeepsie she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy Burch Haight. She was a graduate of Emma Willard in Troy and Pembroke College in Providence, RI.
She taught for many years at Pine Plains Elementary School in Pine Plains, NY. She was a member of Vanderbilt Gardens, a volunteer organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and maintenance of the formal gardens at the Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site in Hyde Park, NY. She also enjoyed taking elder hostel trips.
She was the widow of Warren Lundgren who died in 2012 and is the mother of David Lundgren (Vicky) of Waterford, Dr. Paul Lundgren (Lou Anne) of Poestenkill, Douglas Lundgren (Diane) of Lake Luzerne and Ann Feeney (John) of Seymour, CT. 11 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
