WATERFORD Michael S. Bernacki, 74, of First St. passed away suddenly Monday May 10, 2021 at his home. Born in Troy he was the son of the late John and Veronica Hoag Bernacki. He was educated in Shenendehowa school system..

Michael was a HVAC technician and had been employed at the Holiday Inn in Schenectady and more recently at Hudson Valley Community College. In his retirement he drove for Enterprise Car Rental Co. He was an automobile enthusiast and collected classic cars.

Survivors include his wife of 54years M. Jane Miorin Bernacki and his daughter Kelly M. Crepin (late: Joseph) of Speigletown. He is the brother of Michelle Nistico (Frank) of Colonie, Stephanie Wood of Carlise, NY, Joyce Bernacki of Ballston Spa, David Bernacki (Theresa) of Saratoga and the late Andrea Lattan and Pamela Bernacki. Several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive as well as his grand puppy Benny.

Relatives and friends are invited t attend a memorial graveside service tol be held with that of his son in law Joseph Crepin on Sept. 25, 2021 at noon at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
