Obituary for Mary Ann Joslin (VanNorden)
WATERFORD Mary Ann Joslin, 86, lifelong Waterford resident, passed away April 8th 2023 at Samaritan Hospital after being stricken at home. She was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mary VanNorden. She graduated from Waterford - Halfmoon School in 1954.
Mary Ann was employed by the former Grand Union Company in Waterford, retiring in 1994. In her younger years, Mary Ann was an avid bowler, and after retirement she enjoyed gardening, trips to Maine for seafood, as well as to NASCAR races and Disney World.
She is the widow of William C. Joslin Jr. who passed away in 2003. She is survived by her three children: William C. Joslin III, Michael Joslin (Audrey), and Laura Connelly. She was the grandmother of William Joslin IV and Aliah Joslin. She also leaves behind her brother, Franklin E. VanNorden (Connie) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
