I have so many wonderful memories of my mother, it’s hard to choose just one. She was literally the best mother a kid (or adult) could ever wish for. She was amazing.

One memory that sticks in my mind is the time we all attended a family picnic. My kids were very small. My boys were 3 and my daughters were little babies. My sons has gotten quite dirty playing all day, and so I announced I was taking the kids home. I kissed my parents and other family members goodbye and took my leave with the kids.

I was pulling up in front of my house, ready for a busy might of tubbies, infant feedings and rocking, etc. I was a single mom, so it was a handful. As I parked my car, I saw my parents car pull up behind me. I couldn’t believe it.

My mom got out, came over and said, “Your father and I are going to help you get the kids down.” My mom grabbed a baby, my Dad got the boys in the tub, and my mom and I sat and rocked the girls to sleep.

That is the kind of mom she was. She always had my back. I talked to her about everything. Her advice and guidance made me the mother I am to my children.

I will miss her until I see her in Heaven. Rest easy beautiful mommy.

Uncle Ron,
Since I was a small child my fondest memory of Aunt Marilyn was her laugh. She had such a wonderful and cheerful laugh and she was always laughing. We are certainly going to miss her. I am also going to miss the fall trips you both took to come out with Babs and visit with Debbie and I in Norwich. We always loved those visits. I remember going to Grandma Katherine's home and having all the uncles and aunts and cousins there. Had some wonderful memories there as well. All of these memories will never fade. You all are in our prayers every day. Love you and God Bless you during this very difficult time.
