Obituary for Marilyn Francesconi (Davis)
COHOES Marilyn Francesconi, 85, of Walnut St. passed away Wednesday March 9, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy Burke Davis. She was a 1954 graduate of Lansingburgh High School.
Marilyn enjoyed her family and babysitting for her grandchildren and was an avid reader. She was a NY Giants and NY Yankees fan.
She is the loving wife of the late Ronald A. Francesconi who died in 2020 and devoted mother of Linda M. Francesconi, Lisa Ann Archambeault, Lori J. Francesconi (Kelli) all of Waterford, Vincent J. Francesconi (Regan) of Delmar and the late Anthony Francesconi. Also surviving is her daughter in law Amanda Francesconi of Waterford. She is the sister of Edward Davis of Troy, Linda Page of Northville and is predeceased by her sisters, Alice, Georgie, Dottie and Kathy. She is the proud grandmother of Garret Archambeault, Tenner, Luca and Ronan Francesconi. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:30 am at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt.32), Waterford. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 pm.
