Obituary for Marie Mayo
WATERFORD Marie Mayo 80, of Clifton St. passed away suddenly Monday June 27, 2022 at her home. Born in Champlain, NY she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn St. Andrew Mayo. She moved to the Troy area as a teenager.
Marie was employed as a CNA at the Eddy Nursing Home in Troy and had retired due to an injury. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, was a supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and a devoted Elvis fan.
Survivors include her children, Lisa Mayo of Waterford and Robert Mayo (Terry) of Latham. She is the proud grandmother of Marissa Mayo (Todd Stowell) of Waterford, Samantha Mayo of Latham and Hailey Crogan of Waterford and great grandmother of Blake Mayo, Todd Stowell III and Briella Stowell. She is the sister of Barbara Sahulla of Guilderland, Raymond Mayo Jr. of Troy, the late Shirley Genier, Lester Mayo and Betty Malo.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of her family.
