WATERFORD Linda A. Kilmer, 58, of South St. died suddenly Thursday May 4, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital after being stricken at her home. Born in Troy she was educated in Waterford schools and is the daughter of Elaine Goyette Kilmer of Waterford and the late Harry J. Kilmer.

Linda had been employed by Heritage House in Troy for a number of years before her retirement. She was a member of Soldiers Angels a group supporting our nation’s veterans. She had received many commendations from our military members for her work. She enjoyed making dolls and pillows for family and friends and sewed every stitch by hand.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her sisters Elaine E. McCormick (late Thomas) of Waterford and Charlotte M. Bayard (Jeffrey) of Mechanicville. She is the loving aunt of Katie McCormick and Brandon Bayard. Several aunts and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford. Interment will be at Waterford Rural Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 pm.
