Obituary for Julie M. Galka (Hutchins)
GLOVERSVILLE Julie Marie Hutchins Galka passed away on May 21, 2020 at her residence. Born June 29, 1964 in Albany, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Hutchins Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Mobley Hutchins.
After traveling with her dad to various military bases they settled in York, Pennsylvania. Julie graduated from West York High School, enlisted in the Navy. After discharge she married Christopher Galka. Julie was a graduate of State University at Albany
She is survived by her son Bradley Galka of Manhattan, Kansas and daughter Jenna Galka of New York City, her brother David Hutchins (Susan) of Syracuse and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
At the conclusion of the Covid restrictions, Julie will be buried at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday June 29, 2020 at 1 PM at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford, NY 12188
