Obituary for Juanita R. Bleau (Schrom)
WATERFORD Juanita R. Bleau, 77, passed away suddenly Monday January 2, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Fulton she was the daughter of the late Otto and Edna Hamm Schrom. She was educated in Watervliet schools.
Juanita had been employed by the Waterford Youth Council for 6 years as a Pre-School Teacher. Prior to that she had been employed at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years David W. Bleau, her children Justine Bleau (John), Christine Morse (Raymond), David W. Bleau II (Sherry), Tina Lynn Bleau (Eric), James E. Bleau (Amy) and Albert J. Bleau (Desi). She is the sister of Emmet R. Schrom, Otto D. Schrom, Peggy Ann LaBar, Richard Schrom, Keith Schrom, Kevin Schrom, Anette Silveus, Charles Schrom and the late April Schrom. She is the proud grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by grandchildren Christine Morse Sicko and Joshua Michael Bleau. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 am at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 9-11 am prior to the funeral service.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shriners Hospital, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
