TROY John T. O’Donnell Jr., 64, of 7th Ave. passed away Thursday November 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bronx he was the son of the late John T O’Donnell Sr. and Marguerite Roland O’Donnell. He was educated in Albany schools.

John was employed for 15 years at the Citrus County School District in Inverness Florida. He retired in 2018 and moved to Troy at that time. He was a horse racing fan and enjoyed trips to Racino. But, being a family oriented man, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He was a NY Jets fan.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years Sharon Lavigne O’Donnell, his children, Corrie and Anthony O’Donnell, and his siblings, Margaret Rozonewski, Dorothy Decker, William and Raymond O’Donnell. He was the proud grandfather of Brandon Jourdanais and Jaelynn Terrault. Also surviving is his canine companion, Calusa.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford on Tuesday from 5-7 pm.
