TROY John Thomas (Chappy) Nadeau of 2nd St. passed away Saturday May 20, 2023 at his residence. Born in Niskayuna he is the son of Marilyn Anderson of Houston, TX and the late William Nadeau. He was educated in Cohoes schools.

John had been employed for a number of years by Catholic Charities in Albany and had worked at several of their shelters there. More recently he was employed by Greenbush Tape and Label Co. in Albany.

He loved music and enjoyed going to concerts. But he especially loved time spent with family and friends.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include his children Gage Nadeau of Guilderland and Ashlyn VanDuren of Clifton Park. He is the brother of Michelle Nadeau and uncle of Isabella Ramundo both of Waterford.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2023 at 7 pm at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday May 31 from 4-7 pm prior to the memorial service.
