Obituary for James P. Dunn
GARNER, N.C. - James P. Dunn, 80, passed peacefully on March 19, 2023. He was born in Troy and was a resident of Clifton Park until he and his wife moved to North Carolina to be closer to their son and family.
Jim retired as a safety manager with De Brino Caulking. Before moving he was very active with the American Legion Post 1450 in Halfmoon and remained a member there even after the move. He could also often be found enjoying Saratoga Race Course during July and August.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda; son, Stephen (Melodi); grandsons Tyler and Justin; and brother, Jack (Regina). He is also lovingly survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday May 19, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 119 Broad St., Waterford. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy
