Obituary for Henry E. Riberdy Jr.
HALFMOON Henry E. Riberdy Jr. 90, of Button Rd. passed away peacefully Saturday July 16, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Troy he was the son of the late Henry Riberdy Sr. and Alice Dziarcak Riberdy. He was educated in Waterford schools.
Henry was employed in the family business, Riberdy Contracting Corp. for many years, never having formally retiring. He enjoyed fishing, old engine shows, truck shows, attending clamsteams but especially enjoyed time spent with family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Bechard Riberdy, his children, Henry D. Riberdy of Waterford, Gilbert Riberdy of Schaghticoke, Robert J. Riberdy of Waterford, Charlene M Riberdy of Michigan, Kathleen M. Rosbozom of Waterford, Kenneth H. Riberdy of Sebring, FL, Brian K. Ladd of Ballston Lake, Mark J. Ladd of Mechanicville, Scott D. Ladd of Waterford and Laurie A. Richie of Malta. He is the brother of David Riberdy of Waterford, Teresa Pete of Charlotte, VT, the late Jane Riley, Leo and Frank Riberdy and Marjorie Gregoire. 17 Grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
