I met Gary through Physical Therapy in Halfmoon about 10 years ago and continued our friendship after they closed when we joined the Health Plex gym together with several of our other friends. We helped Gary through several rough times with his heart and other health issues during that period but he was one tough old guy and never gave up. I think what really drove him was his love for his grandchildren, who he talked about relentlessly, especially after baby sitting them, as well as, his love for his children who he also liked to bring up in our discussions. He especially enjoyed talking about his summer vacations in Maine which were a real pleasure for him and the topic of much discussion when he returned. I am sad to say I never got to see Gary for months, to know he was ill, because of the covid and the closing of the Gym, but I know he is in a better place now with his wife who he so dearly missed. Goodbye and RIP Gary my friend!!!!!

I did not know his name. I did know that when we crossed paths we would share a laugh. I work at The Home Depot in Clifton Park and saw Gary from time to time. He always made a point to stop and see me or wave as he passed by. From what I read he sounds like a great man. I will miss our chats at the paint desk. My condolences to his family.
