Obituary for Gail F. Hartley (Farrington)
HALFMOON Gail F. Hartley, 80, of Woodin Rd. passed away Wednesday December 7, 2022 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home. Born and educated in Troy she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Brickner Farrington.
Gail had been employed for 8 years at Trans World Entertainment in Albany. Earlier she had worked for a number of years at the former Gardenway Manufacturing Co. in Troy. She was a member of the Women’s Club of Albany. Gail enjoyed photography and classical music and was an avid reader.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years John A. Hartley and her children Scott Hartley (Valerie Tucker) of Hensley, AR, Erich Hartley (Colleen) of Waterford, Jason Hartley (Marion) of Atlanta, GA, and Johnna Apple (Andrew) of Waterford. She is the sister of Mary Farrington, Kathy Navojosky, Cindy, Tim and Jeff Farrington, the late Gary, Jack, Don, Mike Farrington, Debra Harley, Patricia Bayly and Anne McBain. She is the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
