Obituary for Elizabeth A. Tario
WATERFORD Elizabeth A. Tario, 90, of 4th St. passed away peacefully Wednesday January 20, 2021 at Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Luke and Alice Buckley Tario.
Elizabeth had been employed for 32 years at the former Niagara Mohawk Co. in Albany and retired in 1988. She was a member of the 50 Year Club at Niagara Mohawk and a member of the Speigle Elders. She was an avid traveler and spent her winters in Florida.
She is the mother of Alicia McKinney (David) of Melrose, Daniel Hunter (Micheline) of Waterford and the late Alson Hunter. She is the sister of Marjorie Sequin of Florida. She is survived also by 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by 1 grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
