Obituary for Denise M. Learn (Reed)
HALFMOON Denise M. Learn, 59, of Pine Ridge II died Friday February 28, 2020 at Samaritan Hospital,surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany she was educated in Rensselaer Schools and is the daughter of the late James and Nancy Cook Reed.
Denise was a dear mother and sister who had a family first mentality. She enjoyed garage sales,Bingo and being on Facebook.
She is survived by her life partner of 28 years, Jerry Maynard, her children Walter Learn and Christina Bink (Brian Daigle) of Lansingburgh, David Learn of Albany, Mark Maynard (Star)of Mechanicville and Deanna Maynard of Clifton Park. She is the sister of James Reed (Helene) of East Greenbush, Tammi Dehler (Scott) of Waterford, Kevin Reed(Theresa) of Brunswick, Harold Reed (Della) of Troy and Frank Reed (Diana) of Albany, the late John, Michael and Donald Reed. She is the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister in law Ellen Reed of Rensselaer as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousins including her loving cousin Joellen Schultz.
Funeral services will be Friday at noon at Philip J.Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home onFriday prior to the funeral service from 10 am – noon.
