Obituary for David J. Dushane Sr.
TROY David J. Dushane Sr., 84, of 1st Ave. died Thursday August 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born and educated in Albany he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Alex Dushane.
David retired as a Supply Sergeant from the NY Army National Guard where he had served for over 30 years. He also was a veteran of the US Army. Other employment included custodian at the Albany School District and maintenance worker at Hannaford Markets in Albany.
He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing.
He was the husband of the late Christa Tomisman Dushane who died in 2013 and is the father of David J. Dushane Jr. and Traci A. Dushane of Troy. He is the proud grandfather of David J. Dushane III, Jennifer, Brian, Olivia and Walker Dushane and Zakery Williams and great grandfather of Elizabeth, Noah and Christa.
Funeral services with Military Honors will be held at Gerald BH Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery on a day and time to be announced.
