HALFMOON Darryl “Wes” Houshower, 58, of Sandy Pointe Drive passed away at his home on Friday March 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Lester and Ruth Tracey Houshower.

Wes has been employed at Momentive formerly GE Silicones in Waterford for the past 32 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Korea. He was a member of both the IUECWA and the Mechanicville American Legion Post 91 in Mechanicville.

Wes enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren as well as playing golf, horse racing and visits to the casino.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Monica Hippert Houshower and his loving children, Heather McCormick (James) of Utah, Shaun Finley (Rebecca) of Rexford, Meghan Rizzo (T.J.) of Highland and Ryan Finley of Middletown. He is the brother of Danyelle Weidman (Mike) of Pennsylvania and the late Dean Houshower. He is the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford.
