Obituary

WATERFORD Charles A. Morse III, 86, of Hudson River Rd. passed away Monday January 11, 2021 at his residence. Born in Cohoes he was the son of the late Charles A. Morse Jr. and Pearl Decatur Morse. He was a 1953 graduate of Waterford High School.

Chuck had been employed for 40 years at the former Alleghany Ludlum Steel Co. in Watervliet and retired in 1983. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the American Legion Posts in both Troy and Mechanicville. He was also a member of the All Troy Club and Band Mill Hunting Club.

Survivors include his sister Barbara Gaston of Waterford. He is the uncle of Donald Gaston (Ann) and Debra Scensny of Waterford and grand uncle of Michael Scensny of Waterford.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Special thanks are extended to his nurse Angel from Community Hospice for guiding us through this journey with love and kindness.
