We knew Charlene through Spendwood. Our kids have and/or do take classes there. Charlene was the first person I met, and became the person I always turned to there. She had a way of making it feel like you were a lifelong friend from the moment you met her. She was a strong, warm, and caring woman whose smile would fill you with so much light. Charlene was the type of person that you just naturally cared deeply for, even if you didn't know her that well. She was true to herself; what you saw was what you got. Lucky for us, what we got was amazing. Everyone in my family will miss her dearly. Our love and condolences go out to her family and dear friends. Please know that Charlene touched our hearts, and will never be forgotten.

Erin & Jamie, I am heartbroken to hear of your mom’s passing. She had such an impact on me as a child at Spendwood and I am so happy I was able to continue our friendship as I became an adult. Her generous spirit and devotion to others was clear. You made her both so proud. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, and am sending you much love.
