Kim and family

So sorry to hear about Carolyn's death. I worked with Carolyn close to 30 years and had many laughs with her in unit 093 with Mary Braddock, Shirley Dingley, Kevin Kinnaw, Paula Shastany and Betsy. She always had funny stories to tell.
I remember years ago when keyboard specialists were still using typewriters and Carolyn's typewriter started smoking, literally. We teased her that she was working to hard, slow down. I often called her Sparky after that, she would always laugh.
When she was explaining to Kevin and I that Southern people were very superstitious, Kevin asked if she considered Friday the 13th a Holiday. Oh how she laughed at that. For years after that, if I remembered, I would send her an email on a Friday the 13th wishing her a Happy Holiday. She would always start giggling when she saw me and say 'you and Kevin sure were fun to work with."
Carolyn was so proud of her family. She often spoke of you and her father. She loved her grandchildren dearly and always would give up dates of what they were up to.
