Obituary for Carole Baum-Aldrich (Anderson)
TROY Carole Baum-Aldrich, 71, of 8th Ave. passed away Monday August 1, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany surrounded by her loving family. Born in Natrona Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Anderson and Norma Sankey. She was educated in schools in Pennsylvania and moved to this area in 1970.
She was employed by New York State for over 30 years and had retired from the NY Step Project. She enjoyed crocheting, watching the news on TV, playing games on her Kindle and most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters Michelle Dow (Ken) of Troy and Jennifer Poehlman (Sam) of Colonie as well as her “like a daughter,” Kathleen Miller (Jeff) of Pleasantdale and “like a son,” Mark Malave (Tami) of Massachusetts. She is the proud grandmother of Anthony Baum, Nicholas Dow, Damion, Alice and Samantha Karp. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. A public celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
