Obituary for Beverly Ann Cullen
BOGHT CORNERS Beverly A. Cullen, 88, of Boght Rd. passed away Monday July 4, 2022 at Evergreen Commons Rehab and Nursing Center. Born in Cohoes she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary Mildred Herbs Poliquin. She grew up in Waterford and was a 1952 graduate of Waterford High School.
Beverly was employed by New York State for 20 years and retired from the Office of General Services in 1996. She was a member of the CSEA and she was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham. Bev enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and traveling to Ireland and did so with her husband on several occasions. She was an avid NY Yankees fan.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Robert J. Cullen. She is the mother of Catherine Cullen-Doin of Brunswick and the late Sheila Bouchard. She is the mother in law of James Doin Jr. and Joseph Bouchard Jr. She is the sister of the late Mildred Beale and proud grandmother of Meghan Bouchard, Shannon and Maeve Doin. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday at 9:45 from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford and at 10:30 am at St. Ambrose Church, Latham. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
