ALBANY Beatrice Mae Mooney, 92, of Atria Shaker Retirement Community passed away Sunday March 21, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital. .Born in Stillwater she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Levanway Crandall.

In her earlier years Beatrice worked at State Photo Supply in Albany. She was a communicant of St. Edward’s Church in Clifton Park, and served as a greeter at the Waterford Harbor Visitor Center .She was a member of the Senior Citizens in both Waterford and Halfmoon as well as being a member of the Volksporters, a walking group. She also was a member of the Clifton Park YMCA. While raising her children she was a member of the Carroll Hill School PTA, was a chaperone for the Muchachos Drum Corps and a volunteer at Waterford Halfmoon School.

She was the widow of Richard J. Mooney and devoted mother of Linda Hull (Warren), Karen Girard (Daniel) of Waterford, James Mooney of Arizona, Joseph Mooney (Edna) of Florida and the late Richard Mooney. She is the sister of the late Marie Murphy, Richard Crandall, Harold Crandall, Florence Robinson, Ethel Rose, Catherine Broughton, Charlotte Brock and Robert Crandall. 9 Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private graveside committal service will be held at the convenience of the family.
