Obituary for Anthony J. Cesario
TROY Anthony J. Cesario, 59, of 115th St. passed away suddenly Tuesday November 22, 2022 at his residence. Born and educated in Troy he was the son of the late Anthony and June Butler Gillie.
Anthony had been employed as a car salesman in the West Palm Beach, Florida area and had retired due to disability. In his earlier years he was a member of the NY National Guard.
He belonged to Kee To Independent Growth / New Journeys Day Program and was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous having attained 26 years of sobriety.
He is the brother of Nicholas Cesario of South Carolina, Anthony J. Gillie and Shawn Gillie (Felipe) of Troy and the late Charlene Cesario Greene. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday Dec. 4, 2022 at 3 pm at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., (Rte. 32), Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-3 pm prior to the service.
