WATERFORD Diane Coventry Breault, 73, died peacefully Sept. 3, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in New York City and raised in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Coventry (Harrison). Diane was a graduate Cohoes High School. She later attended Albany Business College. Diane worked for NYS for 38 years until retiring from the Dept. of Education in 1998. She then worked for St. Mary’s Hospital for 7 years and also ran the office of Dr. Najeebi.

Diane loved the simple things in life. She loved gardening, swimming and taking winter trips to Daytona Beach with her best friend and love for 40 years, Willy.

Family was everything for Diane. She is survived by her loving companion, William Stroffoleno; her 2 daughters, Meredith Rivet (Jeff) and Melissa Breault all of Waterford; her siblings, Stanley Coventry (Kate) of Waterford and Elizabeth Coventry Jackowski (John) of South Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jared, Jenna, Jack and Jameson Rivet, Jacob Martin as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. prior to the service.
