WATERFORD James T. Derocher Sr., 52, of 3rd St. died suddenly Wednesday August 15, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Troy he was the son of the late Lenny and Sharon Derocher and step son of the late Joseph Ravena.
Jim was employed at the Pepsi-Arena in Albany before his retirement. He had also been employed by Janitronics Facilities Services at SUNY Albany and earlier at the former Grand Union store in Waterford and Old Daley Inn in Lansingburgh.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn Brust Derocher and his children, James T. Derocher Jr. (Chelsey) and Ashley Derocher all of Waterford. He is the brother of Lynn Guilbeault of Pleasantdale, Joseph Derocher of Troy and Nancy Bradt of Watervliet. He is the proud papa of Cameran Derocher.
Funeral services will be Monday at 4 pm at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit with Jim”s family on Monday from 2-4 pm prior to his service.
