MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO Stephen F. McCrea, 67, of West Whitedove Lane and formerly of Ravena died Wednesday August 1, 2018 at Cleveland Medical Clinic where he had been a patient since March12. Born and educated in Troy he was the son of the late Francis and Carol Sans McCrea.

Steve was employed for 25 years by Fed Ex at their Menands facility and retired in 2011. He greatly enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include his loving wife Donna Sturges McCrea, his children, Stephen McCrea II (Michelle) of Oak Harbor, WA, Kelly Henderson (Robert) of Schenectady, James E. Stanton (Kayla) of Coxsackie and Emily Lynn Stanton of Canandaigua. He is the brother of Candace Lord (Edward) of Queensbury, Timothy McCrea of Troy, Maryann Smith (Dave) of Mechanicville and the late Robert McCrea. 8 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford and interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
